When I started getting into prepping and emergency preparedness, I suffered from SOS – or Shiny Object Syndrome – because I always came home with gadgets and doodads that I thought would help. Over the years, I’ve learned that most of those things were gimmicky and far more of a drain on my wallet than I needed. You can and should easily do without most tools, but some are important.
I want to save you the time I spent and give you the fox-hole recommendations on what works, what you need, and what you don’t need. These pages include the things I use and warn against the unnecessary.
Check back for updates – I have so much more to write about.
